“While Sanders wowed the crowd with his fiddle playing, each member of the band was equally talented at playing his instrument. Some songs were ways to give each band member his own turn in the spotlight/jam session. The band also played some songs from its new album, which will be released this fall. The Rangers have worked with producer Jerry Douglas on the new album, which showcases its new sound with the addition of Ashworth. The new songs, including one likely named “Blow Me Away,” give the band’s sound a rock/pop edge.”
